ACB is typically used as the main power supply breaker and can be equipped with various protection functions for electrical systems. ACBs also support multiple communication protocols such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Profibus, Profinet, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, and IEC 61850 through the installation of communication modules.
ABB’s ACB models include the Emax2 series, which offers four frame sizes with a maximum rated current of up to 6300A.
